Humanitarian, speaker, facilitator and social entrepreneur Marie-Yolaine Eusebe is no stranger to the non-profit world. After the devastating earthquake in Haïti on January 12, 2010, Marie-Yolaine was compelled to take action.  In May of that year, she resigned from her position at American Express to launch Community2Community (C2C), a non-profit service organization dedicated to creating self-sufficient communities by working with the community. Focusing on the areas of Business Development, Education, Health and Infra-structure Rebuilding, C2C launched the Haïti Restoration and Transformation Pilot Project in April 2011, in Petit Goâve, a small coastal town 42 miles outside of Port-au-Prince with the goal of replicating it throughout the country and offering Haitians across the Diaspora and those with a heart for Haïti the opportunity to be a part of something greater than themselves. Marie is also a sought after motivational speaker, selected to kick-off the 2011 Princeton TEDx event to speak on community and “Becoming a FireStarter” followed by a Haitian history performance piece at the Wall Street TEDx event sponsored by Landau Leadership.    Ijeoma Genevieve Mbamalu Ijeoma Genevieve Mbamalu With years of data, analytics and communications experience, Ijeoma Genevieve Mbamalu co-founded MUI-The PR Company (MUIPR) to strategically advise clients on  how they can be successful within their distinct markets. Under her direction, Genevieve’s MUIPR represents multiple business segments and leaders across three strategic brand public relations (PR) areas: social/digital media, events, and traditional PR. Genevieve has a strong background in executing revenue growth strategies and development of go-to-market approaches for new-new markets. Genevieve also has experience in harnessing scientific research for behavior change communications. She has  engineered research and evaluation efforts for public health brands in NYC and co-authored original empirical work in  top tier journals on a number of topics. She has also led studies that have examined the impact of ad campaigns on the attitudes, perceptions and behavioral intentions of target audiences in NYC.  Genevieve holds dual Masters Degrees from Boston University and Columbia University.   Orobosa Owie Orobosa Owie Orobosa Owie is Director of the African Affairs Committee at the United Nations Association Southern NY State Division for Young Professionals, a program that forges high-level relationships between young professionals in New York City interested in Africa with the United Nations and the United Nations Association to increase the visibility of the United Nation’s current initiatives in Africa. Orobosa is an experienced public speaker who believes that the power of effective change lies within each individual. In 2007, Orobosa spent six months in Nigeria as a Youth Campaign Manager during the country’s political elections to ensure that the youth of her assigned constituency had the opportunity to exercise their right to vote. Since then, Orobosa has worked with various UN agencies, NGOs and nonprofit organizations to build multi-cultural platforms that encourage civic engagement and international program development.
