The 2014 MTN Apps Challenge will award the most innovative and locally relevant mobile apps. This is only open to citizens of, and those permanently residing in Ghana.
Entries of apps shall be accepted in the following categories:
- Education Lifestyle Games and Entertainment
- Participants can enter the competition with one or more apps.
- Participants can enter as individuals or teams with a maximum of three people in a team. Applications that won in the MTN Apps Challenge 2013 are eligible for re-entry. Such apps must demonstrate significant improvement from the previous year’s entry. Applications that did not win in the MTN Apps Challenge 2013 are eligible for re-entry. Such apps must demonstrate significant improvement from the previous year’s entry. Local apps that are published on Android, Blackberry, Windows, and Apple stores can enter the competition. MTN staff and their family members are eligible to enter the contest.
