Screen Shot 2015-04-10 at 7.43.04 AMApplications are now open for the #cocreateSA Fund, which is offering ZAR500,000 (US$40,000) in projects combining Dutch and South African knowledge providing innovative solutions to local challenges. The fund is aimed to assist Dutch and South African partnerships to develop and implement collaborative projects in the sectors such as agriculture & food, energy, life sciences & health, logistics and water. An investment of ZAR 0,5 million will be made in projects that aim to combine Dutch and South African knowledge, that are looking to find innovative solutions to local challenges and are focussed on long-term commitment. #cocreateSA is an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in South Africa, capturing the true essence of modern foreign diplomacy: building relationships, putting the demand at the core of our discussions and focusing on long-term commitments and partnerships. The applicant must:
  • be a South African organization;
  • have a Dutch partner.
Funding requirements
  • the minimum contribution is ZAR 25,000 and the maximum contribution is ZAR 100,000 (excluding VAT);
  • the #cocreateSA contribution may not exceed 50% of the total cost of the project.
