Fashion Entrepreneurs to Host ‘Storytellers in Fashion’ Event

\"\"

Storytellers In FashionTM sheds light on the creative experience and inspiration behind various 54 Kingdom designs, and is reflected through oral and visual presentations, while providing a home for other emerging Pan-African artists to share their stories through creative outlets such as music, dance, visual art, poetry, film, comedy, and more.

54 Kingdoms is an apparel and accessory company that brings the Pan-African creative, history, and culture to the doorstep of global fashion. Through the seamless integration of symbolic, cultural, and historical content, together with current trends in fabric, color, and style.

Founders – Nana Poku and Kwaku Awuah, have always wanted to make a difference in the world. They both have a burning desire to create a conscious movement through fashion. Fashion they say, should not just be about aesthetics; rather it should be the thread that interweaves cultures, identities, and displays a pattern of pride and self-expression.

The event will feature performances by Nikolaevna, Bennu & Muffii (Dance), Benpaali & Kuumba Media(Film) and Anita Antoinette (Music).

WHEN: Friday, November 23, 2018
