Pitch AgriHack 2018 is organized with the support of the African Development Bank and financial assistance from the Korea Trust Fund under the Korea-Africa Cooperation Programme (KOAFEC). Pitch AgriHack 2018 will shepherd selected startups through a bootcamp process preparing them to pitch their innovations to potential investors. Selected finalists, 50 percent of whom will be women, will be given an opportunity to pitch to political and business leaders, at the African Green Revolution Forum.
The competition is open to both male and female founders and co-founders of e-agri start-ups offering ICT services to the agricultural sector. Applicants must be aged between 18 to 35 years old.
Winning start-ups will receive from CTA, AfDB and other partners, up to Euros 15,000 in cash (grant) to advance their services, apart from additional support that may be facilitated by stakeholders involved.
