The Sixth Annual African Diaspora Awards recognizes exemplary individuals of the African Diaspora excelling in various spheres of life and those working towards the advancement of Africans in the Diaspora and Africa, as a whole. The ADA Awards is one of the most electrifying and highly anticipated award shows celebrating the African Diaspora. The event engages attendees in a cultural extravaganza of iconic tributes, powerhouse performances and unforgettable moments.

The initiative celebrates and accelerates innovation; creativity and enterprise amongst Africans in the Diaspora between the ages of 22 to 45. To date, the event has produced over 60 winners and over 1,550 nominees since its first edition in 2010. There are 13 categories —ranging from Person of the Year, Advocate of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and more—and they are assessed by a sterling selection of leaders across many industries.

The African Diaspora Awards brings together an extraordinary array of entrepreneurs, musicians, artists, actors, scholars, businesses and other exemplary Africans in the Diaspora and their friends. This event has become the “Who’s Who” of meaningful and powerful leadership in the Diaspora.
