I can’t say I’m thrilled about this opportunity. I always sign up for such programs and I’m always denied, I don’t know the criteria for selection and how one is expected to to fill out the forms provided.
What I will say is whether I’m chosen or not, I am doing what I love and that is helping humanity in any possible way I can.
I just hope that Irene Afful who is suffering from elephantiasis and neglect will get all the help that she needs to get treatment and be able to go back to school.
How can a 16 year old suffer for so long.As if that is not enough, she doesn’t know her parents.
I don’t want to be Selected but I want help for Irene Afful,I a want home which is conducive for her to get the treatment she deserves.
    Thank you

I have bias for maternal and child health (MCH) and gender issues. I strongly advocate for multi sectoral approach in addressing the big challenge of high maternal death in my country. Thank you Oprah Winfrey for your noble work especially in the area of woman empowerment.

  19. helo i seem to love this initiative and am so much interested because this is for me. in africa their seem to be alot of issues chalenges when its come to women leaders and i have been pushing an dfighting for women to be involve in leadership and governance. when their is women in the scheme of things that concern africa as a continent its shouldnt be left alone for the men. so women should stand up and get involve in good leadership that wil improve and take the african continent forward. this is it.
