Addressing Climate Change: In Focus is a global photography competition, created to raise awareness on climate change amongst young people, giving them a voice that will be heard by world leaders and negotiators alike. Seen through the lens of the world’s younger generation, their interpretation of climate change will be all the more poignant.
\”Photography and art can play a key role in visually highlighting the impacts of climate change and the many possibilities of effective climate action,” said Christiana Figueres, Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC.
Selected images will be exhibited within the Blue Zone at the United Nations Climate Summit (COP22) in Marrakech (7-18 November) to delegates from all over the globe.
Open only to young people ages: 7 to 18 year old
DEADLINE: July 29, 2016
