The Annual AFRICAN DIASPORA AWARDS recognizes exemplary individuals of the African Diaspora who are excelling in various spheres of life, as well as individuals in society working towards the advancement of Africans in the Diaspora and Africa, as a whole. The ADA Awards is one of the most electrifying and highly anticipated awards shows celebrating the African Diaspora. The event promises to engage attendees in a cultural extravaganza of iconic tributes, powerhouse performances, and unforgettable moments.
The theme of this year’s award – “The pursuit of knowledge transfer: Entrepreneurialism in Education” comes from our driving principle that education is vital to a thriving society. A society without education will become the breeding ground for violence and intolerance. An educated society however, will promote tolerance and peace, justice and understanding, innovation and advancement, and positive, self-sustaining growth.
With 10 distinct honorees, 1 keynote, a lifetime achievement award, two live music performances and an unprecedented 1,510 participants in person and online, last year’s event was the largest to date. Indeed, this event has become the “Who’s Who” of meaningful and powerful leadership in the Diaspora.
