Village Capital FinTech for Agriculture: East Africa 2015
Do you have a financial innovation that can change the world? Village Capital is looking for financial services and technologies that will provide value for low-income households and others in Eastern Africa who are underserved by traditional financial services.
Village Capital and its partners have teamed up to identify game-changing financial services and technologies. Selected ventures will participate in a three-month outcome-based accelerator program (31 world-class programs in more than 6 countries to date) where they will present to leading investors and be mentored by industry leaders and their peers.
- Innovations that provide affordable extensions of credit, loans, cash advances or other financial services to financially underserved households, individuals, or small agribusinesses businesses.
- Technologies that extend traditional financial services (savings, credit, loans, insurance) to financially underserved households, individuals or businesses in alternative ways.
