Women Building Communities

The Women and Youth Empowerment Network, a UK based non-governmental organization, in collaboration with the Network for Development, will host an African Women capacity building program titled: \’Women Building Communities\’ in November. This program is geared at enhancing the capacity building skills and participation of African women in community development projects.

Activities planned for the event include training workshops and community visits. There will also be a relationship building networking session where women from Africa, African women in the Diaspora and development organizations will meet, share ideas, and experiences on how best to work together and develop communities in Africa.
