The Working Group on Girls is sponsoring a Girls’ Speak Out at the United Nations. This event will be held in celebration of the International Day of the Girl on October 11.
Are you a girl who has launched an inspiring activist project that has improved the lives of other girls in your community? Have you worked with young people and adults in your community to create change? Do you want the opportunity to speak to a global audience about the impact of your work and to invite governments and UN agencies to better support you? This event will provide a space for girls who are engaged in global action to speak with governments and United Nations agencies about your work, and share how your work can be better supported and elevated by governments and agencies.

1. Be a girl (or group of girls) 18 years of age or younger
2. Have the resources to participate on October 11 by video or in person
